#21 I installed this on my Asus K70-IJ running Ubuntu 11.04, nothing much changed really, jack sense still not functioning as it should. IN alsamixer, the Headphone slider is finally available but doesnt do anything. A new option called "Dynamic Power-Control" has appeared, which seems to kill the headphone-out when enabled. I just tried it and unfortunately it didn't change anything. I am not sure how to verify whether I am running your module though: at the end of the installation there was a message telling it wasn't able to build a module for the running kernel, but there are snd-hda-* modules in /lib/modules/2.6.35-20-generic/updates/dkms/.
