Brian, I am fine with how you want to handle this bug, but marking it incomplete and saying I had an old version of empathy seems the wrong approach since at the time I used the most up to date empathy available, and this bug will now auto-expire even though nothing happened. Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. RIght now you seem to be using a relatively old version of empathy for maverick.
