I think I finally got it :) Thanks for notifying me in a very pleasant way, I'm pretty new around launchpad, sending reports I've done a couple of times now, but never got a reply back. It feels good to know someone acually using the information we send when errors occures. My new project is to help translating into norwegian. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error caused by a corrupted archive. Please execute the following commands, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal ( Applications - Accessories - Terminal ) : sudo apt-get clean sudo apt-get update Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your issue. If so please set the bug's status to Invalid. Hello Thank you for working on the OS I use, Ubuntu. Just contributing back a little bit, new at launchpad but starting to get an idea how it works by now. My virtual computer is ok now, just reinstalled about 5 corruptet packages and Ubuntu was ready to go. But thanks for giving advice!
