info.sh . So i right click on the link and save the file as alsa-info.sh
in the Downloads directory, then i try to run it from terminal using:
bash ./alsa-info.sh and get this:

bash: ./alsa-info.sh: No such file or directory

What do you mean by assuming you are in the same directory where you saved
alsa-info.sh? should the directory be open when I type the command?
Where did i messed up?

Re: [Bug 619437] Re: No sound after fresh (initial) install

2010-08-17 Thread Luke Yelavich
I am not sure that we can help you. You followed a guide that is not
officially endorced by the Ubuntu audio developers, and it appears that
following the guide has made things worse for your system, since
aplay/arecord are not able to see any devices.

Please download http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh and run it from
a terminal like so: bash ./alsa-info.sh - assuming you are in the same
directory where you saved alsa-info.sh. Please attach the file that gets
created to this bug report, for further analysis.

 affects ubuntu/alsa-driver
 status incomplete
