[Bug 62054] Re: Resume after long hibernation triggers new hibernation

2006-10-13 Thread RaphaelHaas
Filed a new bug-report for kde-guidance-powermanager, which can be
chosen now. This should be the more accurate place for this bug. Also,
the initial description is misleading, so this bug should maybe just be
closed/rejected.

dpkg calls this package kde-guidance-powermanager but this one doesn't
seem to exist in this system?

[Bug 62054] Re: Resume after long hibernation triggers new hibernation

2006-09-27 Thread RaphaelHaas
I did some more testing and now I can reproduce the problem. It's a kde-
guidance-powermanager problem and occurs when hibernate on lid close
is selected. Then after resuming and logging in to kde, the first thing
powermanager does is to remark that the lid is closed and so triggers
hibernation. The next time the comp resumes, everything is fine. Also
when hibernating with the log-out dialog or the powermanager-menu, there
are no problems, only when closing the lid to trigger hibernation. And
it's surely not related to kde-laptop, I checked that with a fresh
account. I hope this can be fixed before the edgy release

so long, raph
