Got it resolved by purging guake and reinstalling it. Yeah, this popped up on the Alpha and has carried over to the beta. Adding a screenshot depicting the bug. Having the same trouble here. Guake is a great time saver/convenience and having to manually set the TERM after every reboot is rather troublesome.
