There is an interesting error in /var/log/installer/syslog /lib/partman/recipes.sh: line 31: local: `-': not a valid identifier and /lib/partman/recipes.sh does indeed have a line 31: local ignore ram line word min factor max fs - which looks odd to me. According to the logs, /dev/hdb1 is a bit under 2 GB which explains why the install failed. Since you chose to automatically partition, this shouldn't be happening. *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 48355 *** I don't see how this is a dupe of 48355. My hard drive is 30 gigs and all it had on it was Edgy, when I selected the option to reformat the entire disk.
