Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kamera
The Kamera ioslave is very slow at retrieving thumbnails from the camera (ours is a Canon Powershot 410, but I think it is a general problem), particularly compared to the KDE digikam application. The following is a link to a patch which aims to rectify the situation.
