Sorry for not updating the bug report so that you wouldn't waste time looking at it but with no activity, it totally slipped my mind. I booted from the CD and did the install. If I did look through some menus, that was about it. However, before I tried anything with Mint, I did shrink the partition on the c: drive by 8mb by mistake. I got rid of that and created a 8gb space, using Win7. I'm wondering now if that had anything to do with the problem. 1) The version of Linux Mint you are using (release number and edition, for instance Linux Mint 9 KDE, Linux Mint Debian...etc) Linus Mint 9 Isadora (9) 2) What you did for the problem to happen I ran the install package and all looked well, then the crash. There seems to be an issue with power management?!? 3) What happened Install crashed at 94% - screen shot of window at that point was provided, and is attached to this comment 4) What you expected to happen instead Expected that the install would complete normally. Have not yet tried to re-install. Thank you for taking the time to look into this. I directed that it use an 8GB partition, But now that is fragmented (see attachment).
