[Bug 63069] Re: Upon resume from suspend, windows and gnome do not refresh properly

2006-11-06 Thread Michael McDaniel
Thank you for your quick response.

I will keep on the email-update for this bug in case anyone suggests a
fix. Maybe some future upgrade will fix it. I miss suspend.

I really don't know what fixed it, along with updates it just went away.

Sorry for the lack of help.

2006-11-06 Thread Michael McDaniel
What was done to create the situation of "This no longer happens, and
all is well" ?

I have exactly the same problem with a Dell 700m which I upgraded to
6.10 Edgy from 6.06 Dapper.

Suspend worked fine before the upgrade, is unusable now.

Hibernate works fine (after a manual fix with mkswap, UUIDs and file
updates).

thanks, and please advise ...

2006-10-16 Thread Daniel Holbach
Thanks for your bug report. Which video driver are you using? Do you use
compiz and xgl by any chance? Which repositories do you have enabled?
Does this happen with a new user as well? Do you have any interesting
log messages in ~/.xsession-errors?
