The ubuntu maverick kernel keeps reporting ( in dmesg without the >>)

while there are no apparent problems with my harddrive or controller.
I have also tested mainline kernel 2.6.35.4-maverick. The problem exists
there as well. So this is a vanilla kernel 'problem'.
Removed 'requires upstream testing' tag.

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.35-20-generic
- I read somewhere that earlier version of kernel repored EH complete for
- ATA drivers incorrectly. So there was no problem with the drive or
- controller, just the kernel.

Hi RichardN, If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
