Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

1) Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release: 10.10

2) nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.31.92-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:2.31.92-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1:2.31.92-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) I select a Flash video file in Nautilus, right click on it to bring
up its context menu, select "Open With Other Application...", write
mplayer in "Use a custom command", uncheck "Remember this application
for "Flash video" files" and click Open. I didn't have "Open With
mplayer" in the context menu prior to performing these steps. I expect
to not have it afterwards as well.

4) Instead, Nautlus remembered the association and displays "Open With
mplayer" for all Flash video files.

I'd used the feature on a daily basis in Lucid and it used to work as
expected i.e. Nautilus didn't remember the association when I had
"Remember this application for $TYPE files" unchecked.
