This is on Maverick, Kernel 2.6.35-22-generic. See this bug report on

When this error happens, the throughput and the latency of the wireless
connection degrade sharply. The only work around is to deactivate
802.11n by issuing:

    modprobe -r iwlagn
    modprobe iwlagn 11n_disable=1

Would be nice if this could be fixed for 10.10.
