Compiling fresh from their source (from svn) seems to respect irc_join_delay variable - UNLESS the server sends a JOIN command (from my understanding of the code). Does /set irc_join_delay 5 fix the problem? This is now affecting joining #ubuntu. I keep getting floodbot nonsense and then it's ok to join. I have my favourites set to join #ubuntu,#ubuntu-beginners ,#ubuntuforums-mods but it only lets me join #ubuntu-beginners now.
