Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hplip
Just following on from advice given: "Yash said on 2010-09-21: We will support scanning of 1050 in future HPLIP release. Please create bug in launch pad for the same. Thanks for contacting HPLIP" Link: https://answers.launchpad.net/hplip/+question/125633 as I see it hasn't been done yet and I have a Deskjet 1050 here now. It isn't mine so others may have to follow this one up.
