Public bug reported: Binary package hint: telepathy-butterfly
According to http://blog.desmottes.be/post/2010/10/01/Whats-new-in- Empathy-2320 Empathy 2.32 is able to do Audio/Video-Calls via MSN. So i'm testing this with... * Ubuntu Maverick and Empathy 2.32 * Windows XP SP3 and Windows Live Manager 2009 Build 14.0.8117.416 Live Messenger calls Empathy: * Empathy: I can see my webcam and the remote picture * Live Messenger: Only the "local" picture is displayed, and the program still makes a ringing sound. It looks like that Live Messenger doesn't know, that i accepted the call within Empathy Empathy calls Live Messenger: * Empathy: I can see my webcam and the remote picture * Live Messenger: Sometimes it works and i can see both pictures (local and remote), but often the call gets interrupted as soon as the remote picture should be visible ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: telepathy-butterfly 0.5.14-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.33-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Oct 1 17:03:15 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Beta amd64 (20100901.1) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: telepathy-butterfly ** Affects: telepathy-butterfly (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- MSN audio/video calls don't work properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653084 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
