New GUI interface of Ubuntu Maverick is amazing. bug on my netbook behavior
is unexpected.
The netbook HP mini 311 has next configuration: Intel Atom N270, Nvidia Ion
video card.
After installing RC of Ubuntu Maverick, Unity started successfully. But:
1. icons of applications/folders/files are not appeared when open appropriate
screens (applications, files, ) Only text under icon is shown. or may be icons
and name of application is different.
2. Some elements of new GUI interface are appeared/disappeared when they want
)))
3. Installing some applications for example (Netbeans with installing
scripts) have some troubles with displaying. After installation, there is now
menu catalog Programming (as it appears in standard Ubuntu meny if run ubuntu
desktop instead of unity.) icon in right launcher has strange label something
like java-thread... instead of NetBeans
4. unity restart sometimes without any messages.
5. not each application can fixed on right application bar, because not
always appropriate meny item by clicked right button is present.
6. Not all applications appears in menus.
