The native resolution of my LCD is detected correctly (1920x1200) but is displayed in a 4:3 "view-port"? with black vertical-letterbox borders and therefore a virtual desktop with horizontal scrolling. The next lower resolution - 1600x1200 (4:3) is displayed correctly.
