I can see this happening, but not *every time the window is opened*. Here, the chat the contact-list windows move up every time I use the *indicator* to access the window that was *previously visible on other workspace*. Ah, I figured out the issue didn't occur after removing the ~/.config/Empathy/geometry.ini file. Apparently, to trigger it, you need to reduce the vertical size of the chat window (once) and then try to reproduce the steps above.
