I recently found out that the problem isn't related to firefox so please close the bug as solved. ;) The problem was that the textsize of the ubuntu-ff packages was different from the size in the original packages and there are many badly coded webpages out there which get scrambled like the mentioned one if the text is too big... Here I have a screenshot of one website, which looks strange (left site) opposite to the display of the same page in the original firefox (right side)...
