Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Issue: I have one panel arranged vertically along the left side of my screen. The clock applet is placed on the top of the panel (thus on the top-left corner of the screen). When I click on the clock to get the window with the calendar, timezones, etc., it appears completely off-screen (I see the shadow of the window appear at the top of my screen). It seems that, instead of the top of the window being aligned with the top of the screen, the *bottom* of the window is aligned with the top of the screen. Expected: The calendar/time-zone window should appear with the top of the window aligned with the top of the screen so that the window is completely within screen bounds. Details: I have used this layout previously in Lucid, Karmic, and Jaunty. This is the first time I've seen this behaviour. Seems like a regression to me. I upgraded by wiping my partition and performing a full install from the Maverick AMD64 LiveCD.
