[Bug 659758] Re: adding user changed home directory location not saved
This was tricky, but I've committed a fix upstream in liboobs and gnome- system-tools. It will be available with 2.91.1 soon, for Natty. ** Also affects: gst Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gst Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659758 Title: adding user changed home directory location not saved -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 659758] Re: adding user changed home directory location not saved
Confirmed. It seems we're using MAX_GUINT32 as the GID for the user when trying to change its home dir, which always fails. This value isn't supposed to be used after the user has been created, it just means "default GID" and should be updated to a real value imediately after the user's creation. ** Changed in: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- adding user changed home directory location not saved https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659758 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
