Well, it's definitely becoming more complex and introducing a lot of bleeding-edge stuff like plymouth, upstart and so on. From complexity comes instability, sometimes. Thanks for the provided solution, Neal, we had the same problem on our own systems doing an upgrade. I'm searching for some details about the problem. Is there an official bug opened somewhere? I would follow the developments... an eventual upgrade would lead to a massive disaster on our network.
