Why is it set to invalid? The problem still exists in the current (german) Wine 1.4 installation. Just extract it, no explicit installation is necessary. It is a simple graph plotting tool. The program asks for a licence, but you proceed by clicking Ignorieren (ignore). After the Error code=1 message, you can proceed with this program, so wine does not crash completely.
