Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I am behind a http firewall with authentication.
I see the account data and usage in Ubuntu one preferences but I'm unable to
connect. Disconnected state is displayed.

I managed to register and get account data only after this Hack:

   add to /etc/apt/apt.conf:
   Acquire::http::proxy "http://user:p...@proxy.xxxx.xxxx:port";;

Before I did this I was unable to register and the message:

   'NoneType' object has no attribute 'makefile'

was displayed.
Ubuntu one is not using proxy configurations or there is a problem with proxy
authentication.
