Can we get a snapshot of /var/log/apt/history.log too if you don't mind so that we can see if apt stopped logging actions too and to determine if this is a bug in synaptics or a possible bug in apt. No problem history log is attached. These are test partitions. I've another machine (clean install) with a test partition and that machine stopped logging history in synaptic on Nov 1.
