Bugs #70391 and #75412 were marked as duplicates of this bug, but I think there 
is a little difference: this bug is related to linux-restricted-modules package 
which offers closed source `fglrx' driver and supports ATI X1300 to X1950 
series. I opened bug #75412 because package xserver-xorg-video-ati (open 
source) doesn't support those series.
Yes, they work with `fglrx' driver but there is not DRI + Composite extension 
support, that's why I'm waiting for the support on the `radeon' driver in 
xserver-xorg-video-ati package!

The X1300 cards are supposed to work with the closed-source fglrx
driver from linux-restricted-modules. At least mine does. Otherwise,
what Timo said.
