2008-08-30 Thread Jame
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Re: [Bug 68333] Re: tables imported to database from Windows Access

2008-08-30 Thread Robert Griffiths
Hi Jame,

It now works fine !!

Are you interested in expanding database features ? I did my post grad
computer work early 80's after starting on Siliac in the early 60's. I
am now too old to do the coding and am far from up to date on current
languages.
There is some unfinished business developed by Dr. Ted Codd which could
not be handled due to machine limitations in those days. I don't know if
Ted Codd (ex IBM research) is still alive but his ideas need an airing.

Cheers, Robert Griffiths.
