This is a dupe of another Invalid bug, but I am failing to find it in my gmail searches. Basically, this is a bug with gnome-session. I should point out that the notification in no way should slow down your logout. I don't know how to investigate on this problem. The above comment was a mistake, goldendict has nothing to do with it. Sorry for any confusion. To be clear: the problem occurs also without goldendict running. For now I can just say the problem happens most of the time. It seems that it has to do with another application (goldendict) not exiting quickly enough. It hangs a while about 1.5 seconds with a dialog complaining about a program still running. That aparently messes up the logout-process.
