[Bug 693812] Re: Compiz resize/move shortcuts are not well managed for touchpad
If you go in to the Preferences on the left side of ccsm and turn off gnome integration you can set these two options however you would like. Just don't expect your setting to sync over if you decide to run metacity in the future. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/693812 Title: Compiz resize/move shortcuts are not well managed for touchpad -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 693812] Re: Compiz resize/move shortcuts are not well managed for touchpad
Thanks Travis, and is there a workaround? I'm totally opened to use any other shortcut, but the main requirement is: "button1" instead this can't be used with a touchpad. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/693812 Title: Compiz resize/move shortcuts are not well managed for touchpad -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 693812] Re: Compiz resize/move shortcuts are not well managed for touchpad
This is actually because we're keeping in sync with GNOME/Metacity keybindings which for these options have a setting for a modifier (Alt, Ctrl+Alt, etc) and then separate options for the move and resize buttons (Button1, Button3, etc) so setting resize to Ctrl-Alt-Button1 in compiz changes the metacity modifier to Ctrl-Alt and the metacity resize button to Button1 but since the modifier is shared between these two options you run in to the problem you've found.
