Done for banshee and fix committed : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee-community-extensions/+bug/629532 But for gedit-plugins, impossible to add a bug there : https://launchpad.net/gedit-plugins It forwards to Ubuntu Desktop Bug which says it does not use Launchpad for mailing list, and no "report bug" menu, so I went to Gedit bugzilla : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640398 But there I got the answer that they were not taking care of Ubuntu packaging, so I went directly to Gnome : https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome/+filebug but there I have only choice between GChildcare, Gnome Torrent, Obex, RhythmboxEQPlugin, Scribes, gnome-font-installer, potd and striim. If a plug-in, or plug-in bundle, does not show up as an add-on, on the USC screen for an application, that is (except for bug 700884) the fault of the the plug-in package. gedit-plugins should be marked as "Enhances: gedit", but it is not. Similarly, banshee-extension-lyrics and banshee- extension-liveradio should be marked as "Enhances: banshee", but they are not. So, please report bugs on those packages. Next, imagine that those packages were fixed. Should a search for "gedit" still show gedit-plugins by default, alongside gedit and leafpad? If so, why?
