[Bug 70402] Re: (Ignore- Cannot reproduce) Search on wikipedia opens firefox. When you close firefox you cannot launch it again. It keeps saying Firefox is already running.
I can confirm that this bug still affects Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10). My reproduce: 1. Need to have package "firefox" and "deluge-torrent". 2. Download any torrent and select open with "deluge-torrent" from within Firefox. 3. Close Firefox. 4. Start Firefox. Error: "Firefox is still running." Fix: Kill firefox. Then run it again. Process order in "gnome-system-monitor": firefox -> deluge -> -> xdg-open >From what I can understand, Firefox keeps running because the system (or Firefox) thinks something is dependent of it still running so it doesn't close the "engine" even though the GUI has been closed. -- (Ignore- Cannot reproduce) Search on wikipedia opens firefox.
