*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 915241 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/915241 Actually this bug wasn't fixed in precise. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 with GNOME Classic and Compiz. The behaviour is exactly the same: first opened terminal have the size of 80x24, all subsequent terminal windows are 2 rows less.
