Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
Most of my media keys won't work either as global or ordinary shortcuts in Amarok. I can assign them correctly so that they appear in the list of shortcuts, but only media forward has an effect. Pause, stop and media backward do nothing. I *can* assign other key combinations to these functions, such as ctrl-alt-space to Amarok global pause. Volume up and down as well as screen brightness up and down all work properly.
