Public bug reported:

I upgraded a Kubuntu 6.06.1 to 6.10 a few weeks ago, and ever since,
Firefox and Swiftfox both crash frequently.

9 times out of 10, on opening any popup, be it a blocked popup, a called
one, one within the application such as downloading a file or the
Deepest Sender extension, any of those things causes the browser to
segfault.

When I run them from the command line, this is the error I get when it
segfaults:

(Gecko:8268): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent_window: assertion
`GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(Gecko:8268): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_is_viewable: assertion `window
!= NULL' failed

(Gecko:8268): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET
(widget)' failed
Segmentation fault

I'm not sure what else might be needed. Any remedies would be most
appreciated, as crashing on pages like CNN and downloading a file are
most annoying.
