Have you tried to remove your old data and then run gwibber again? to do
that you need to delete .config/gwibber, .cache/gwibber/. by the way
ubuntu recommends when you are upgrading to an non lts release jump one
release per upgrade, not upgrade directly to the latest version heh.

No I did not try that..

Given that I was not able to reproduce the crash the next time I
logged on I presume that would have fixed the problem.

In any case, correct me if I am wrong but.. it shouldn't have crashed
in the first place.

sid, you are right.. but remember that gwibber have received lot of
changes between Lucid and Natty (changes in Backend) so issues can
happen.
