[Bug 73930] Re: Unbalanced interrupts for Core 2 Duo
I'm not sure unbalanced interrupts could be the cause for poor performance. I'd never heard of them until reading this bug report! If you see noticeable performance gains in running that utility, please reopen this bug. I'm still not quite sure what Ubuntu can do to try to address this, though. ** Changed in: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Unbalanced interrupts for Core 2 Duo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/73930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 73930] Re: Unbalanced interrupts for Core 2 Duo
Could you please be a little more specific? I have only been using linux for 1 year and I don't know what that means? I am using Ubuntu Dapper Drake. Do I need to download that app from the repo's? Can I get it from source? How do I run it? DO I create a little script to run this little app each time I start my computer until this is fixed in the kernel? What are the disadvantages of unbalanced interupts? -- Unbalanced interrupts for Core 2 Duo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/73930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
