See screenshots for comparison. [Original Description] XV video output with the radeon driver (at least I assume it is a driver problem) produces incorrectly coloured video output. The effect can be seen from the gstreamer-properties application by selecting both xv and no xv options in the video tab and clicking 'test'. I'll attach screen shots of the good and bad output. [Bug 740655] Re: Incorrect colour map for xv on radeon driver
Hi grant, the upstream bug report indicates they think it's an app that messed up your color map. Can you confirm the issue is still affecting you? If it is, can you outline the steps you follow to reproduce it? Also, try using xvinfo or xvattr to check if some parameters are being changed by those apps but not being restored after. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/740655 Title: Incorrect colour map for xv on radeon driver -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
