I'm with 12.04 beta and this crash happened just after boot, no idea what's the problem -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743214 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/743214/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 743214] Re: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743214 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/743214/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 743214] Re: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Hmm, this is a bit confusing. In the original bug report you mentioned that you have an nvidia card, yet all of your files show a radeon card, no evidence any nvidia card is present. I think your maverick logs aren't helping explain the situation. I'm going to drop the oneiric tag, this doesn't appear to be an actionable bug after all. It'll need to be re-tested against oneiric, and/or better explanation about the configuration inconsistency provided. ** Tags removed: oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743214 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 743214] Re: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
[This looks like an actionable bug we should continue investigation on with oneiric. It hasn't been re-verified against oneiric and probably should at some point but at this point I would think this is still an issue in that release.] ** Tags added: oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743214 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Dear Bryce, I really hope that I haven't caused the "optimized-out-problem". If so, do you know what I have done so that I can correct my self in the future? After testing 11.04 for a couple of days I had to remove it and reinstall 10.10 again. I experienced some problems with installing applications that I would like to use, this probably due to my lacking experience with linux. As you probably realize by now, I don't have files that you would like to see. If there is any thing else that I can contribute with please don't hesitate to contact me again.
