Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
Test install of Natty presents options to install 11 along side a previous installation (in my case, lucid). Ubiquity does not query fstab of initial install to use same home directory and instead creates its own /home/ ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: ubiquity (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-7.39-generic 2.6.38 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-7-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Mar 26 21:17:29 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha i386 (20110326) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubiquity UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743309 Title: Ubiquity ignores home partitions during 'alongside' installation -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
