under 12.04, I can confirm the Menu item disappearing, and also the preview crash. Unfortunately, uninstalling the lo-menubar, the HUD does NOT work in LibreOffice. Bug is still present in Precise, with last updates installed. No "Window" menu in LibreOffice with lo-menubar. Window Menu is hidden on purpose.
