Is there an "easy" way (other than manually opening every single piece of application) to verify if there are icons or any other information missing from the Unity menu from anything installed in Ubuntu? I know for a fact that not every app is compatible with Unity (they may keep their menus inside the window no matter what). Could you please attach a screenshot of the menu that shows the problem. well, the file (/usr/share/banshee/icons/hicolor/48x48/actions/media-write-cd.png) is there ... the icon remain not on the menu while in Unity... I will test on Gnome (Ubuntu-Classic) ASAP.
