[Bug 76749] Re: [SPARC/feisty] gs-esp BUS ERROR
I have reported this upstream at http://www.cups.org/espgs/str.php?L2199+P0+S-2+C0+I0+E0+Q (This is a comment rather than a bug watch because Malone doesn't seem to understand the CUPS bugtracker; see Malone bug 80243.) -- [SPARC/feisty] gs-esp BUS ERROR https://launchpad.net/bugs/76749 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 76749] Re: [SPARC/feisty] gs-esp BUS ERROR
I have investigated this and the crashing line appears to be pure nonsense. It makes invalid assumptions about the in-memory representation and anyway the semantics it appears to be trying to implement would be wrong. gs-gpl does not have it. I'm doing a test build with the erroneous test removed and expect to upload a fix today. ** Changed in: gs-esp (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed -- [SPARC/feisty] gs-esp BUS ERROR https://launchpad.net/bugs/76749 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Attach foo used as test case. See also http://librarian.launchpad.net/5499562/buildlog_ubuntu-feisty- sparc.graphviz_2.8-2.6_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz foo has been manually generated from groff -Tps -man ../../cmd/dot/dot.1 there is little point to rebuild graphviz just to test :) Fabio ** Attachment added: "test case" http://librarian.launchpad.net/5508565/foo ** Changed in: gs-esp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- [SPARC/feisty] gs-esp BUS ERROR https://launchpad.net/bugs/76749 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
