I don't see the number of this bug in the changelog, but on Precise, there is a dropdown above the reviews, from which I can select the language of the reviews shown (but only one language at a time). In my language (nb_NO) there's two reviews for Firefox, two for gimp, and that's pretty much it. And all of those are written in English! Based on the fact that android market, with a much larger userbase than Ubuntu, does the same thing, I can assure you that there will not be a sufficient amount of reviews to make this feature as useful as it could be. What I'd expect to see with my locale is those written in nb, nn and en. However, it appears from the Google Translate API page that the API is now deprecated and is apparently going to be shut down completely on Dec. 1 of 2011: http://code.google.com/apis/language/translate/overview.html Ah well, it was a great idea nevertheless.
