[Bug 783169] Crash report cannot be processed

2011-06-16 Thread Apport retracing service
Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

libgssapi-krb5-2: installed version 1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2.1, latest version:
1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2
libk5crypto3: installed version 1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2.1, latest version:
1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2
libkrb5-3: installed version 1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2.1, latest version:
1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2
tzdata: installed version 2011f-1, latest version: 2011g-0ubuntu0.10.10
libkrb5support0: installed version 1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2.1, latest version:
1.8.3+dfsg-5ubuntu2

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!

[Bug 783169] Re: ubuntu-geoip-provider crashed with signal 7

2011-06-03 Thread Jamie Strandboge
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a regular (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

** Visibility changed to: Public

** This bug is no longer flagged as a security vulnerability
