Upgrade to Natty did not fix. PPA-mesa drivers did not fix either. ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox - Web browser is hitting a software fallback in the X server, but the Chrome process is still using more CPU than X. - Scrolling even a light web site using ATI open drivers on Ubuntu 10.10 eats huge amount of CPU. Proprietary drivers gives same results.
