I'm experiencing these frequent crashes myself and I know how annoying they are. I've already spent quite some time trying to figure out what is done incorrectly in LottaNZB that causes these crashes in the low-level libraries. The most likely reason is that it is some sort of multi- threading issue, which is particularly hard to debug. I'll definitively try harder to fix this bug.
