Public bug reported: After installing edubuntu on an nvidia-based system, I attempted to log in. I was presented with a screen saying that something had gone wrong and I needed to log in again. After logging in again, I got a blank blue desktop. (Eventually a notification from jockey about drivers appeared, but as there was no panel loaded I could not click anything.)
Logging out with control-alt-delete and logging in again gave the same results. Logging in with the "Ubuntu 2d" mode selected loaded unity-2d properly.
