I am closing this bug because as Alex reinstalled Ubuntu and cannot reproduce the issue anymore with the information provided I cannot reproduce the bug as well as have not seen any other similar bug report. As I said, I can't try anything anymore due to reinstalling my system. The problem only exists when Banshee is open. Can you reproduce this bug in a Classic Desktop session with Compiz running? If yes, then (in Classic desktop) try switching off effects. Can you reproduce it then? I can switch Workspaces/Dekstops and 2 of the 4 are affected as seen in the screenshot, the others are even worse. When you have a screen like the one in the shot, can you switch desktop & back? If yes does that fix the problem?
