Public bug reported:
Notebook used: Acer TravelMate 4235, 1 Gig RAM 160GB HD. Nvidia driver
used and is ok on both kernels (8776)
wlan detected and successfully used when booting i386 kernel as setup by
Ubuntu installer.
wlan not detected (no eth1 device available on desktop) when booting
generic kernel.
eth0 device works on both kernels
Both kernels are as supplied by distribution
